In this link, find the court transcript of 3 July 2015 at Barrie. The purpose was to have the court permit a patient to have mental assessments audio, video, or verbatim in writing, recorded to be able to verify the "summaries" and assertions psychiatrists make. The conclusion was astounding. The court heard the patient complain that his statements were being taken out of context, and allowed the authority of "an expert" (not in the field of law) NOT to have his statements verified because the "expert" is afraid that the patient will be able to identify, and advertise, intentional false assertions. The question of culture was also raised. The psychiatrist completely went against that written in the Diagnostic And Statistics Manual (DSM), which does laughably negate his rule as expert.
